How do I can one?  When I hover my mouse over them it just stays a hand and tells me what it is.  It won't turn into a sword or a paw print to show me if I'm able to battle it.  Does it fall off those giant bats when you kill them?

Found these just north of Skyhorn, just follow the road north until you see a cave on your left (Rockcrawler Chasm) and there's quite a few right inside.
