Today is my birthday! Maybe i'll get lucky with some new pets :)

I was lucky enough to have won one of the recent WWI code contests and have received a mini Tyrael pet!!!!! As avid pet collector's I am sure all of you can understand my excitement! TY Breanni for posting the links to the contests!

I am still working on grinding out the oozeling, firefly and emerald whelpling pets, which has unfortunately turned into fairly substantial grinds but I will be keeping at it. Hoping to update my collection with my new pets soon!

2 weeks ago : I'm still on the green/emerald whelp *sigh*

1 week ago : one week i'm on the spot and still nothing... so sad :'(

i was selectet to be a GM! yay me! i can now get any minipet(accept for newer ones :(), and i can play ALL upcoming axpasions encluding: WotLK, Emerald Dream, and the last isnt named yet.


PS:i got a diablo AND zergling on the same character.

I have been doing Crocs in the city everyday from the start of 2.4 I have done the quest atleast... 60-70ish times AND STILL NOT EVEN ONE CROC!!!

Still Luck On My Emerald Whelp Yet, Still Farming Sporeggar and Skyguard rep! Currently with friendly with Skyguard and honored almost reverd with Sporeggar. Still so many Naga to kill @_@

Recently went on a pet binge and got everything I could besides the seasonal pets. I went up to 47 different pets on one character. It'd be 53 if I counted my other characters though.

It's probably just as well that Old Man Barlo is not attackable. >.> Another day of Crocolisks in the City with no croc pet, obviously.

found a group for heroic durn last night. i asked if we could kill Don Carlos first. they said yes :) and i won the hat!!!! :D My current pet is a black wolf (I'm a hunter) and they are great buddies. :)

Logged onto my lvl 33 hordie to find Black Tabbyon the AH, at a mere 19g! Seen it recently on the alliance AH at around 600g BO, glad i didnt throw away all that money now!

The cat's now been safely transfered and is settling in at the bank with its pet bretheren on my mage =)

@annieB - yeh iv had similar trouble with other items, unfortunatly all you can do is try to explain to people just how rare the pets are and hope to god that someone, who actually understands, and wants to buy either of em comes along soon.

How do you guys deal with people slagging you off in trade channel when you're trying to sell Hyacinth Macaw or Black Tabby? We all know that they're not vendor sold, but sadly the vocally uninhibited twits in the trade channel don't seem to. I finally offered one guy 5000g if he could prove me wrong by pointing out which vendor sold either one, but that didn't stop him mouthing off. It's annoying to be called a scammer when you know you've never ripped anyone off for anything. Is there a creatively humourous way to deal with the problem?

As the various contests for Tyreal pets come to a close, everyone's chances of acquiring it fade. I must say, however, that even being given the chance at obtaining one was exciting while it lasted.

In other news, after something along the lines of five-hundred Furious Crawdad, I finally fished up Mr. Pinchy, and immediately used an available wish. I've seen the luck of others regarding this, so I must say that he must have been in a particularly generous mood... my new crayfish can attest to that. Good luck with your fishing, everyone!

Farming for: crocs. The quest is quite often on my server, I'm just unlucky to get the right drop. Still 3 to go!

Dreaming about: Ethereal Plunderer and Mini Tyrael. I can't afford them and I don't know if I EVER will. I won't even mention Murky.

Waiting for: Children's Week. Still 1 Outland pet and 2 Azeroth ones (I missed Azeroth quest 2 years ago ><).

Mr Pinchy really hates me, I have lost count on how many nodes I have fished. "/sigh" At least this is pretty profitable, I got a freind to cook up the goods for me.
I have been getting bored as of late so decided to try the multi-box thing. I planned on getting a 2nd account for the mount anyways. Right now got a priest/hunter combo going. I really like it so far got to 11 on both really fast. It really adds a cool element to the game. Also gives me a break from the usual pet and mount grind.

1st try: more than 800 crawdads, 1 furious Mr. P., 2 blessings
2nd try: 108 crawdads, 2 gifts and a guarding Pinchy
3rd try: 161 crawdads, 2 benevolent Mr. P.s, 1 Gift
4th try: 292 crawdads, 1 benevolent, 1 blessing, 1 wish left - giving up hope :/

Why does he think I'd need protection? I have a cat that protects me! =(

Congratulations to everyone who has this little Crawdad, I'm quite sure you have to be very lucky or very stubborn to get it - envy and admiration to you all :)

Many thanks for my epic flyer, because I could not fish like I do without it. I've filled 1/2 a guild bank tab with the fish I've caught fishing for Pinchy and still no luck. A guildie got his within his first lure (lucky doodad) but so far he's only received potions.

I even use Strongbad's "jig" to try and convince him to be caught, but to no avail.

/sigh

Someday you'll be mine, Pinchy, someday...

A guildie just farmed me an Emeraldp Whelpling! Turns out he likes the change of pace from fishing and grinding, so he's going to farm pets for gold on the side haha. Naturally I referred him here for research ;)

hopefully i will get muckbreath from this next fishing daily but i dought it. also more firefly grinding probobly ight need to grind bloodsail guys for the rare parrot.

1 hour of grinding for firefly and still no luck but i wont give up. i like follow pets that look like a pet i could tame

finally after like 5-6 hours i got my firefly... now for the blue parrot lol... big fun

no muckbreath but at least the firefly poped up finally and ow im working on the sprite darter on my warlock so far im the right level to try and get it finished at minimal lvl and if i lvl AV for exoder rep for a elek mount yay 2 birds with one stone!!!
