Just picked up Lil' KT and Pandaren Monk. Not sure what to grind out next.

Bought the Monk and I kinda want to buy L'il KT, but I'm still conflicted about paying real money for pets.

I got the Horseman's mount on Hallow's End (hooray!) but the Green Proto-Drake will not drop for me from the eggs. And speaking of that, I have a bunch of Tickbirds and White Tickbirds in storage. If any Alliance on Misha wants one, message me here or in-game mail and you can have one for free. First come, first served!

Non-Pet related: Working on a few fishing achievements. And I've been farming Gnomer with NO luck for Mechbuilder's Overalls for my fishing outfit. If anyone has this on Misha & wants to sell, I will pay well for them!!

l can understand what you mean - once they charge for one thing, what's to stop them from charging for others - but at the same time, you have to consider this really is just like the trading card game. The only thing lacking is a physical object. On the other hand, the pet store pets are BOA - the tgc pets/mounts are NOT. People either pay 100s$ for them, get incredibly lucky, or don't get them. That's simply not the case with the petstore.

PErsonally l'd rather buy from the pet store, adn be assured l'm not going to get scammed.

Imo a pet does not set precedent for them to start charging for game affecting items. (Mind, if they do, l'm out. I'm just not going to worry bout it in the meantime.)

@Peepers: My worry is that they'll stop making cool pets available for the $15 I already pay every month. For the amount it costs them, especially for a digital item, the pets could be available easily for $3, or $10 with 8 of it going to charity (for ALL pets). Profit is good, but where do you draw the line? Charge for legendaries? Less lag?

@Ardrhyst: I don't like the precedent either. I like easy availability of pets, but I hope they keep it a rare occasion. I hope new pets aren't lame so we go buy much cooler pet store ones. (another cat and another snake? Meh)

I have no problem with Blizzard having the pet store. Since when is it bad for a company to want to make money? They get to show investors rising profits, we get a shiny new pet. I really don't understand the sense of entitlement this current generation seems to have.

If I'm short ten bucks or I don't particularly like the pet...I won't buy it. Simple as that.

Finished my raptor collection finally. ^.^

I still need between 4 and 6 of each of the rarespawn raptor babies to have them for every toon. Pretty decent progress.

~Just got exalted with the Netherdrakes and bought all six mounts, which leaves me at 64/100 mounts.

~Farmed ZG with the hubby last night for the raptor/tiger mounts, ended up walking out with the Razzashi Hatchling.

~The Hubby surprised me with the Pandaren Monk the other day so I just had to get Little K.T. to go with him.

AT pets: 7/12 (I need to get my butt in gear on my ally)

Lately, I have been thinking about buying the Hippogryph Hatchling off of eBay. I told myself I would NEVER buy a pet off of eBay, but I have been tempted to do it. What do you guys think, should I do it? The little guy (or girl) is SO cute!

Looking forward to the new holiday coming up. I love holidays as much as I love vanity pets. I've always loved how WoW handled holiday events in game :)

Real money for pets?!? I swore I would never do it, but they are just too dang awesome to pass up! And 10 bucks per isn't that much...

112 pets now! If only I could finally get my hands on Mojo and a Phoenix Hatchling and make it 115.

Please Blizzard, don't add to many more pets to the store. My bank account cannot take it.

On a side note, each of my new characters now start with 9 pets in their mail box. How cool is that?

I think that the $10 pets are setting a huge awful precedent for all of us.

It's basically Blizzard conjuring money for themselves. Yes, I realize they are donating some of it to charity, but still. They are creating a resource and then charging an actual resource for it. It's not even like they've disguised it like they do in the card game.

This is a simply transaction: money for pets. I don't like it one bit.

The patch has started downloading, so it can't be too far off. Maybe 1 to 3 weeks?
