Looks like on the PTR all max level toons have 41 Artifact Knowledge; and that we'll be getting another level of AK every week, for free, no order hall resources required.

I have no idea if its going to make the real release, or what effects it will have on newly leveled 110s toons, but anyone farming "Power Ascended" you might want to just put it on hold until you're at AK 50...every quest/emmisary/dungeon etc will be 13.7 times better.

Blame me. I finally just got all three pets on my deathknight. Glad to hear they are making it less of a PITA for others. Back to the alt grind.

I'm doing the "Power Ascended" on every class for every reward (I focused the pets first), but I plan on doing the rest, I'll wait for this on my rogue / pal / hunt I think ^^

I mean, wasn't this obvious? I try not to sound to cynical, but it seemed to me when they said the cap would be 50, then changed it to 40 just before ToS came out that they were clearly using AK as a way to keep people subscribed. And frankly, I think it worked. So expect new AK levels during any lull in raid tiers when people might be tempted to unsub. If we get a 7.4, I'm sure there will be AK 60.

What happens if a person uses the AK40 book after the patch hits? Is the feature triggered the next day?

I assume with the patch, if you have a book it will be grey and useless.

Definitely use the AK40 book before 7.3; I *assume* it shouldn't matter but 1000 resources is stopping the "just in case"

In the current PTR, these items are grey trash sadly.
