Players must first complete the quest, Beasts of Fable, before unlocking the daily quest of the same name. The initial quest rewards the Red Panda.

The Fabled Pandaren Pet Supplies is a reward for completing the daily. This bag also has a chance to drop two other panda companions—Mountain Panda and Sunfur Panda.

This lil' guy's a great help for levelling lvl1 pets up to the point where they can survive against tamers. I like my levelling pets to be at least level 10 before I start power levelling them in the dailies. Ice barrier can protect a level one from a wild pet for one turn so I can get them to that level 10 point.

There are some cool uses for these pandas. They aren't a one man team like the uber pets, but they work really well as role players in a team. For example: use snowy panda to open with for Little Tommy Newcomeer on Timeless. Throw up Ice Barrier and it blocks the Frillblast (swap) and Spiritfire Beam allowing you to bring in Zandalari Anklerender. Black Claw + Hunting Party gives added damage and double damage then dies. Watch Oondasta dissolve with Lil Bling's Make it Rain and Inflation.

While the Red Panda, given as a reward for completing the quest "Beasts of Fable" the first time, cannot be caged and sold/gifted, the other three panda pets found in the Fabled Pandaren Pet Supplies bag given when completing the daily version, including this Snowy Panda, can.

 

The quest is given by Gentle San at Shrine of Two Moons for Horde, and Sara Finkleswitch at Shrine of Seven Stars for Alliance.

The white fur of the Snowy Panda allows it to hide in the snowbanks of Kun-Lai Summit.
