Battle For Azeroth
Patch 8.3.0 | Posted: January 14, 2020
Anomalus is a drop from the corrupted chest that is rewarded at the end of a Horrific Vision. Players must defeat Thrall or Alleria (main objective) to earn the chest that has a chance to drop this pet.

This ooze leaves behind a slimy trail as it moves that has a stench that would rival a beast rotting in the dunes of Uldum for a thousand years.
This unfortunately needs to be nerfed - either: 1.) make it Unique so that people can have only one or 2.) seriously nerf the stats and/or rearrange its abilities.
The PvP meta right now is running 3x of these, nothing can stop them. I ran 3 really good dragons against this combo (chose traits for extra damage versus Magic), managed to kill 2 of them.
Ditto for running 3x Mechs (to receive less damage from Magic).
Unacceptably unbalanced.
Health of this fellow is a pure joke (oh yeah, even LESS than Sapphire Cub) yet, due to its Toxic Fumes combined with Corrosion and either Poison Protocol/Contagion Strike AND racial passive, he can do REALLY REALLY HUGE mess in enemy's team ;). Absolutely awesome pet, especially when paired with any pet who has Decoy/Illusionary Barrier or other similar effect ;)))). In general, as stated above - really really good pet, might be a game changer in some situations. Highly recommended.
Magic pets with low hp actually benefit more from their racial (Magic pets cannot be dealt more than 35% of their maximum health in one attack.)
So Anomalus can't take a hit higher than 362.
Anomalus has fantastic self-synergy.
Good way to get the magic battler achievement during pet week. Have very low HP, and easily countered by a dragon team, sunlight, darkness, or a good player but that excludes 99% of the ppl during pet week who will mostly encounter this little guy then rage.
This cute little red blob is just unstoppable. Really disgusting.
Qiraji Guardling is a solid counter to this pet. It's faster, has a stun, has a sandstorm to counter aoe. Another reliable counter is Scalded Basilisk Hatchling with its stun and good damage.
Anyone come up with a general use PVP team or even a specific one that can beat a team with two or three consistently (without putting up the same team and relying on RNG)?
