Wrath of the Lich King
Patch 3.3.3 | Posted: April 15, 2010
This pet is available for digital download exclusively from the Blizzard Store. It may be purchased using any major credit card. Players who purchase this pet will receive a code which may be redeemed on any WoW account. All WoW accounts (of the same region) under one Battle.net will have access to this pet. Codes may also be purchased as gifts for other players.
Lil' XT will shoot and destroy any nearby rocket bots (without retaliation). It will also destroy the Darkmoon Zeppelin, any nearby Toy Train Sets and other toys.
As of January 6, 2019, this pet is no longer available from the Blizzard Pet Store. It was part of the "See You Later Bundle" promotion, and has since been "retired". Blizzard has stated that it might re-appear in the store at an undisclosed date in the future.
Between April 27, 2023 and May 25, 2023, Amazon Prime Gaming subscribers could claim this pet, making it temporarily available again.

Modeled after the huge titan prototype in Ulduar, this volatile little construct plays hard with its toys.
I also got this guy by being a paid subscriber to WoW Mobile before it went free. As a battle pet, he's great vs. anything but elementals, and amazing against beasts. Use Boombot then Repair when he's at about half health and 3 turns later, you're back to full and your enemy goes Boom. When he says "Ready to play!" it never fails to make me smile :)
In the PTR of uldar, before boss had loot drop off them, they would drop vouchers. The vouchers said, "Sorry, But your loot is located in another dungeon." a reference to Super Mario Brothers. You would trade several vouchers for a XT-001 pet. XT-001 was just a shrunk down version of XT-002 (unlike lil' XT which is a new model.) I remember collecting the vouchers after seeing it on wowhead's PTR data. I only got 2 voucher which wasn't near enough. Its only lasted for the PTR too.
Had this little guy for quite awile, and I was totally excited when they started doing Battle Pets. Sure enough, this guy is a freakin tank. Talk about big brawler.
...." I think i broke it!"
-- Toy Train Set
-- Clockwork Rocket Bot (you'll need some help for this!)
-- Toy Gorilla
-- Any assortment of Crashin' Trashin' racers!
Get this little guy through Amazon gaming right now! Just got an email about it :) "Lil’ XT, the mini-Deconstructor pet, is filled with boundless energy and child-like enthusiasm—and he’s absolutely bouncing off the walls at the thought of you adopting him through Amazon Prime Gaming!"
THANKYOU so much. I found the Blizzard email from 2012 and redeemed it today, just under 10 years later. Woohoo!
Got mine today!
Used the leveling stone to get it to 25, and NO REGRETS AT ALL
I LOVE THIS PET
He is also a boss in pet battles ( Zap, Repair, Tympanic Tantrum)
I can confirm the free Lil' XT can still be claimed as of today, 8/15/2017. I found a five-year old code in my email. The link included didn't work, but I was able to redeem it through the new account page.
Thanks everyone!
Thanks for the tip guys i just got my free lil XT for paying for wow Mobile before it went free :D
Although boombot is an amazing damage, I've recently realised that Tympanic Tantrum is even better. I just let it autodamage all 3 pets while doing other stuff, then repair, put out the baby pet I need to level and back to this guy -so Tantrum is off CD by this point, rinse and repeat. Great if you have to do other stuff but you cannot stop yourself from logging into WoW :)
Keep your fingers crossed that he stays available.
