Notes:

This companion is rewarded after doing several Argent Tournament quests whereby players become a champion for a specific allied race. Speak to the boy and he will display the banner of any races with whom you are an Argent Tournament champion. Additionally, if he is present when fighting a champion, he will sometimes cheer for you when you win or cry when you lose.

As of patch 3.2, this pet may now be equipped with an Argent Pony Bridle. With it, the pet allows you access to a mailbox, a bank, or a vendor every 4 hours.

Everyone's been telling me to get this kid a horse. "He's tired!" they say. "He's been running behind your mount from Booty Bay to the Sunwell!" they complain. So, I'm about to cave, and I ask him what he thinks about it, and what does he say? "What may I do for you, Dame?"

Needless to say, tomorrow we're running from Silithus to Teldrassil.

The first time I saw the Argent Squire there was a Priest walking around Dalaran with one on a leash. He had little hearts rising from his head. Blizzard very quickly made it so you couldn't put a leash on him for this very reason.

Argent Squire is one of the few pets that will not fetch the fetch balls. While I can see them not wanting him to carry it in his mouth, it would have been sweet if they had put in the extra effort to have him run and catch it to throw it back or something.

This is a great pet to have. If you have the attention span to get Crusader, it even adds function! Also, you can customize it with the various pennants you receive. This is a all in all a fun pet.

Since I'm prone to spending ridiculous amounts of time away from major cities, ergo my bank, having this little guy and his pony was a must. Now, as long as I remember to manufacture the ammo I need, I always have access to the extra in my bank.

I love the function of this little guy, I just hate to say I was disapointed in the model. I just dont like the little boy. Oh the child models (you can see most of them running around lower city) I am a bit partial the other races of little boys. I just think they look better. I think that is part of why I have been dragging when it comes to doing the dailys needed to get this guy.

I would adore this "pet" if I could have chosen a little night elf child instead of a human, since I'm playing a night elf. It makes sense to me to have your squire be from your home city, and the first city that you champion, since he's a reward for becoming a champion of that city. Additionally, the pony bridle would be equally kickass if it was race-specific, so my night elf squire could ride a little nightsaber.

at the start of patch 3.2 the pony was tiny and cute,
after patch 3.2.2 the pony was HUGE!
now patch 3.3 it is again tiny and cute again :D

I also agree that it is unfortunate that the squire is not race-specific and that his mount is not either. Though, there are no Night Elf, Gnome, and Dwarf children in-game. *Tries to imagine gnomish and dwarven children....*

I do like that they used such a classic old school mount for the Argent Pony Bridle.

actually Luci, theres a dwarf girl chasing a rabbit (you buy the snow shoe rabbit from her) at the dwarvern mount vender/trainer. She's practically just a mini female dwarf.
