Toothy

This pet is part of the new special vanity pets tracking achievement which has been data mined from the 3.3 PTR
As Sateena said, "It tracks several of the rarer pets including whelplings, raptor hatchlings, crocolisks and more".

I keep checking everyday the fishing daily in the Outland. When it is the croc fishing daily, I always do it. But I am starting to get frustrated. I have every croc but this one. The drop rate of these pet's has increased but you can continue to keep getting the same croc in you bag and they are soulbound so, you cant sell it. I wish blizzard would either make the reward not give me the croc that I already have or let me sell these cute little guys!

i think selling them would make them less special, plus it makes getting all four that much sweeter!

I got this little guy the second time I've done any outland fishing dailies.

I Just got him on my first try. I think it should be venderable at least even tho it's never a lot of money at least you get something out of all that work.

I completed the quest and it didnt drop :( oh well, i guess theres always next time!

I have been trying to get my last little croc for quite some time. I am not sure if anybody else is experiencing the same problem but it seems ever since the last big patch came out, every time I do the "crocolisks in the city" quest I no longer get a pet to drop. Prior to the patch I ALWAYS got one, just not the last one I need :( - Can anybody confirm this? Happy Hunting.....eerrrrr fishing.

At least for me the 60% drop rate seems not to be true. I haven't got a single bucket in a looooooong time. And even before that the bucket drop rate was way lower than 60% for me... and only Muckbreath and Chuck, no Toothy. :(

Edit: Well... I threw away the buckets that I had been carrying (to remind Old Man Barlow which ones I don't need), and the very next time I did the fishing in Stormwind daily Toothy dropped. It might have been just RNG having a laugh at me, though.

/agreed with above previous post concerning the drop rate no where NEAR 60%...that has to be in error. I have not gotten any buckets for any of the crocolisks dailies in months...not even a repeat on one of the 3 I have...which at this point, for myself, would be welcome, as it would tell me they dang things still drop !!

anyway...just my 2 coppers worth.
(and now I spent my last two coppers, I am broke, and still have no Toothy :-)

Today was the day at last. After waiting for what seemed like forever to get crocolisk #3, corcolisk #4 which was Toothy dropped. The quest to get all 4 is now finished and I couldn't be happier. As for the 60% drop rate, that cannot be right. Anyone who are trying to get these, just keep at it. Eventually, you'll get them all.

I got this little guy to drop on the first time I completed this quest! Super happy! Now on to the next one!

I've recently been trying to get Toothy on an alt.

I got the first three: Chuck, Muckbreath and Snarly in successive treasure bags. However, after ten more treasure bags not only do I not have Toothy I haven't received any of the other pets either. That's no pet in 10 treasure bags !!

Anyone else having this problem problem recently?

It's now 12 treasure bags and no pet, petitioned a GM and got a response that there was no known issue but they would investigate further ......

alright i've been doing these quests for atleast 6 months and havnt gotten a single pet yet, I do the quests almost every day and nothing. do the crocs only drop if you do the croc in the city quest? or do they come from all quest reward bags?

Yes, the croc pets will only drop from the Crocolisks in the City daily. I try to check the daily every day, and only do that one.

Still waiting for this last croc to drop.

Haven't played in almost a year. Just dusted off my account, and got Toothy on my first daily since getting back on. Great re-start to a fishing career!

I have been trying in vain FOREVER for these guys. Yesterday and today I was lucky enough to get the Croc in the City quest and got Chuck and Toothy on consecutive days. I am so glad I finally got lucky! I tried on my alt for the same luck and didn't get one on her, but did get a Strand Crawler. So anyone who hasn't got them yet just needs to keep trying.
