This is one of four BoU Winter Veil pets that drops at random from the [Gaily Wrapped Present]. You must be level 20+ to loot this item. This item appears under the Winter Veil tree in Ironforge (alliance) or Orgrimmar (horde) on and after December 25th through January 1st, but the [Jingling Bell] can often be found at auction year-round.

This reindeer is the tiny counterpart of the festive holiday mount you see everyone riding during Winter Veil. It would be neat if you could ride this little guy too. But unless you've got a bag of Noggenfogger Elixirs, you'd probably just end up with a stained bottom and a very sad reindeer…

This is one of the cutest pets you will see. Remember to keep a good supply of snow balls on hand though as he does require them as a summoning source.

For high levels, there is now a quest reward from a daily in Storm Peaks that is a reliable source of snowballs.

I think it's great that Blizzard provides us with pets that are the baby versions of a lot of our mounts. Whenever I'm in snowy areas, my mount jingles merrily & my pet follows.

My best advice for a way to "farm" this pet, as well as the other Winter's Veil pets, is to level a whole bunch of alts to lv20+. This in itself shouldn't take long, and it guarantees more chances at actually getting the pets for free, and not having to pay for them.

Also, if you do buy them, try to do it when there's an abundance on the AH. Come July-August, these pets can fetch as much as 10k+, depending on your server.
